Terms of Service
The terms that govern access to and use of Baseink.
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Baseink, a whiteboard animation editor for creating, previewing, and exporting animated video projects. By using Baseink, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Baseink on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Using Baseink
- You may use Baseink to create, edit, preview, and export animation projects for lawful purposes.
- You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of exported videos and important project materials.
- You may not interfere with, reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or attempt to bypass security or access controls for Baseink.
Accounts and Access
If you create or are given a Baseink account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the text, media, audio, designs, and other content you create or place in Baseink projects. You grant Baseink the limited permission needed to operate the service, provide editor features, render previews, create exports, troubleshoot issues, and support the product.
You are responsible for your content and for confirming that you have the rights, licenses, consents, and permissions needed to use, edit, export, publish, or share it.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Baseink to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, harassing, or exploitative content.
- Do not upload or use content that violates someone else's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt Baseink, introduce malware, scrape protected areas, or use Baseink to attack another service.
Baseink Materials
Baseink, including its software, interface, branding, templates, built-in assets, and documentation, is owned by Baseink or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Baseink materials to you.
Subject to these Terms, Baseink gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for creating and exporting your projects.
Exports and Publishing
You are responsible for reviewing exported videos before publishing or sharing them. Baseink does not guarantee that an export will be accepted by every platform, device, codec, browser, or distribution channel.
Third-Party Services and Assets
Baseink may rely on third-party services for hosting, storage, diagnostics, payments, media delivery, or other functionality. Those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
If you use third-party assets in a project, your use of those assets must comply with the applicable license or permission for those assets.
Beta and Changes
Baseink may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be experimental or in beta and may not work the same way in future versions.
Disclaimers
Baseink is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baseink disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baseink will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Baseink.
Termination
You may stop using Baseink at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Baseink if you violate these Terms, create risk for Baseink or others, or if we are required to do so by law.
